Are you or your kids not particularly keen on eating dates? I can change your opinion of dates with today’s recipe. It is an easy to prepare, no-cook recipe that will prepare you for the warm and hot days in the next six months. It’s a recipe for Chocolate Dates Milkshake! As summer comes to pass, it’s hard to go wrong with milkshakes.
My kids hate to eat Dates and that’s how I know this recipe will change your opinion about dates. I can go on with the nutritional benefits of dates, but if you do not like to eat them raw, I realize that talking about nutritional benefits will not convince you 🙂 You just have to try this recipe! If you are already a fan of dates, you know how sweet they can be at the peak of dates season.
Although this is not the peak of dates season, I found a fresh box of Medjool dates at the Indian store last week and could not resist the temptation to prepare this milkshake. I topped mine with a scoop of my favorite non-dairy ice cream. It is really up to you to do that or just add some colorful sprinkles that kids love.
