- 2 cups raw peanuts
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- salt to taste
- 2 teaspoon oil
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F.
Add the raw peanuts inside the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking it occasionally. (I placed a cake pan in the air fryer basket to prevent peanuts from getting stuck in the holes)
2 cups raw peanuts
Once the peanuts are golden brown and crunchy, turn off the air fryer and transfer them to a mixing bowl.
Add black pepper, chaat masala and salt according to your taste preferences.
¼ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, salt to taste
Drizzle some oil over the peanuts and give it a good mix.
2 teaspoon oil
Let the peanuts cool down to room temperature before serving or storing in an airtight container.
- Make sure to shake the air fryer basket occasionally for even cooking and browning.
- If your air fryer basket has bigger gaps, add the peanuts to a smaller bowl or pan and place it inside the air fryer. This will prevent the smaller peanuts from falling through the basket.
- Experiment with different seasonings and indian spice mix to create your own unique flavors. Dry mango powder is a popular flavor enhancer that's used along with other spices.
- Peanuts have a decent shelf life of up to 7 days, when they are stored in an airtight container.
- Adjust your cook time if your air fryer oven is small.
