Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place the cauliflower florets in hot water with a pinch of salt. After 5 minutes, drain and pat them dry with a paper towel.
    1.2 pound cauliflower florets
  • In a mixing bowl, add the cauliflower florets, cubed potatoes, chopped onions,  and drizzle oil on top. Toss everything together so that the vegetables are coated with oil evenly.
1 cup potato, 1 onion, 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • After preheating the air fryer at 380°F for about 3 minutes, place all the vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • While the vegetables are cooking, mix spices like coriander powder, cumin seeds or powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt with tomato sauce.
½ teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder, ½ teaspoon garam masala, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, salt to taste, ½ teaspoon coriander powder, ¼ teaspoon cumin powder, ⅓ cup tomato sauce
  • Once the vegetables are cooked, transfer them to a mixing bowl and add the spice. Toss everything together and fry the vegetables in the air fryer for another 8 minutes to let the spices cook.
  • Finally, sprinkle some kasuri methi and lime juice on top and serve your delicious air fryer aloo gobi hot with steamed rice, dal, or vegetable curry.
    2 teaspoon kasuri methi

Notes

  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook the vegetables in batches if needed.
  • Adjust the cooking time according to your air fryer model and the size of your vegetables.
  • Marinate the vegetables with the spices for 30 minutes before cooking for a more intense flavor.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables, like bell peppers or carrots, to the mix.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves for extra flavor and appeal.
  • You can add ¼ teaspoon of cumin powder and coriander powder along with the listed ingredients.
