Instant Pot Garlic Rice
Garlic rice is one of the easiest rice based recipes you can prepare! Enjoy vegan, gluten free Instant Pot Garlic rice.
Servings: 5 people
Press saute on the Instant Pot and add 2 teaspoon of oil along with mustard seeds and urad dal. Saute them until they turn golden.
Add chopped garlic and continue to saute until the garlic turns brown.
Add the rinsed rice, turmeric powder, salt and 2 ¼ cups of water. Press ‘Cancel’ to stop sauteing and stir well.
Now close the instant pot lid and press the ‘pressure cook’ setting and set the timer for 4 mins high pressure.
Once the timer goes off, do a natural release.
Remove the lid and fluff rice with a fork. Instant Pot Garlic Rice is ready to be served hot!
