Sesame Ribbon Pakoda - How To Make Ribbon Pakoda

Crispy, tasty ribbon pakoda snack which is perfect with hot chai.

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Warm-up 2 tablespoon of oil just a little bit and add to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Now add water and knead well in a food processor or by hand. (make like chakli dough)
  • Put the dough in the die/press and place it aside.
  • Heat the canola oil in a frying pan.
  • When the oil is hot enough for deep fry, press the dough directly to the oil in a free form style.
  • Fry until they turn golden brown.


Always add warm oil to the flour. It gives the crispiness to the snack.
