Strain the rice and blend it with 2 cups water and bring it to a consistency of dosa batter. ( add 2 more cups)
Add salt to taste.
In a medium cook pot, cook the batter until most of the moisture evaporates and the dough becomes thick.
Remove off the heat and let it cool down just enough to handle the dough easily.
Scoop a handful of the dough and shape them into little balls and steam cook them for about 20 minutes.
Check if the dough is evenly cooked (With a toothpick) and continue to steam if they are not cooked completely.
Now it time to put the noodle press or "Shavige Mane" or Pasta Maker to work! As you press the dough, set the noodles on a flat plate.
