Sweet Potato Chips

Ingredients

  • 6 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 3-4 cups frying oil

Instructions

  • Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them very thing with a slicer.
  • Soak them in water for about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare half cup of salt water.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan.
  • When oil is ready to fry, drain the sliced sweet potato and drop them inchunks.
  • Now drizzle a tablespoon of the salted water in to the oil (careful not to splash the water)
  • Continue frying until the chips turn golden yellow.
