Start by washing the moong dal in clean water 3-4 times.
Soak them in water overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours.
1 cup Moong dal/ Split Yellow lentils
Drain the water and place it on a kitchen towel or a cotton cloth and allow it to dry completely. (10-15 minutes)
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, mix the dry moong dal with olive oil.
2 teaspoon olive oil
Place the dal in the air fryer and roast for 10 minutes, occasionally stirring to ensure even cooking.
Once the dal is crispy and golden brown, remove it from the air fryer and toss it with spice powders.
Salt to taste, ½ teaspoon red chili powder, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, ½ teaspoon amchur Powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
Spread it on a paper towel and let it cool down
