- 1½ cup oat milk
- 1 banana frozen
- 2 tablespoon cacao powder
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 scoop non-dairy vanilla ice cream optional while blending
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy texture.

Pour into glasses and top with vegan ice cream, chocolate syrup, and dark chocolate.

- If you don’t have a frozen banana, you can use fresh ripe bananas and add some ice cubes to the blender.
- If you are looking for a substitute for frozen bananas, try adding vegan ice cream or coconut cream to make it a creamy base. Frozen banana helps to get the consistency of thicker milkshakes
- You can use any type of plant-based milk that you like. I like using oat milk because it’s creamy and it has a neutral flavor.
- I used unsweetened cacao powder in this recipe but you can use any type of cocoa powder that you like.
- Make it protein-rich by adding a scoop of vegan protein powder to the blender.
- If you want a thinner consistency, add more milk. And for a thicker consistency, add less milk or even some ice cubes.
- If you don’t have vegan vanilla ice cream, you can use whipped cream.
