  • 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries
  • 1 cup oat milk or almond milk
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or sugar

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients one by one into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  • Pour into a glass, garnish with cacao nibs or chocolate chips (optional) and enjoy!
  • Cherry Chocolate Smoothie will be thick in consistency. If you want a thinner smoothie, add more plant-based milk until desired consistency is reached.

Notes

  • If you don't have frozen cherries on hand, you can use fresh cherries. Just pit them and add them to the blender with the rest of the ingredients.
  • You could also add a handful of spinach for some extra nutrients.
  • If you want a sweeter smoothie, add a frozen banana or dates. Cherry Chocolate Smoothie will be thick in consistency. If you want a thinner smoothie, add more plant-based milk until desired consistency is reached.
  • For a richer smoothie, add some avocado or coconut cream.
