    1 pound baby carrots
  • Next, place the baby carrots inside a mixing bowl and add all the seasonings: Oil, salt, and lemon juice. Give a nice mix.
¼ teaspoon red chili powder, ½ teaspoon black pepper powder, salt to tatse, ½ teaspoon Italian seasonings, 2 teaspoon lemon juice optional, 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 4 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned baby carrots into a single layer inside the air fryer basket and cook for 14 minutes at 400F with a shake reminder halfway through. (spray oil if you desired)

Notes

  • Preheat the air fryer before cooking the carrots. It's not mandatory but it won't take a long time like the conventional oven, so why not?
  • You can omit the oil, but note that the air fryer carrots can turn out a little drier by doing so.
  • Air frying cooking time may vary depending upon the model and size of your air fryer.
  • If you are not sure if your carrot is done then You should glide a fork through the carrot with ease.
  • Add more seasoning if you think it falls off during the shaking. Using a little bit of oil helps in making the seasoning stick better.
  • You can always reheat the leftover roasted carrots. Reheat 350 degrees F and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Just dump the desired amount of carrots into the air fryer. Be careful to not overcrowd the frozen carrots.
  • To cook the carrots evenly, cook them in small batches.
  • You could also use whole carrots and chop them into bite-size pieces like baby carrots.
