Potato halwa is one of the South Indian dessert. Today i learned it from my MIL and it came out very well. Lets start!
- 1/2 kg potato
- 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup ghee
- Cashew or almonds 10
- Elachi 4
- Food color ( optional)
- Boil the potatoes and peel it and mash it .
- Take a non stick pan and start to boil the mashed potatoes and pour sugar and again stir it.
- Now add the ghee and keep stir.
- when it start to boiling add the nuts and elachi
Potato halwa is ready.
